Volleyball Recap: David Douglas Comes Up Short

David Douglas lost against Sandy back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Scots came up short against the Pioneers, falling 3-0. The Scots' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

David Douglas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Sandy, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. After both having extra time off, David Douglas and Nelson will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sandy, they will challenge Clackamas at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
