American Heritage has won nine straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Coral Glades has won nine straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Patriots will host the Jaguars at 6:30 p.m. The last three games American Heritage has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Thursday, American Heritage sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Spanish River. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by just one run.
Isabella Benton made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over 4.1 innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adrianna Layne, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, one double, and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Coral Glades was able to grind out a solid victory over Cooper City on Thursday, taking the game 7-2.
Coral Glades also got a great performance from Haleigh Thomas as she struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk).
On the hitting side, Briana Escobar was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-4. Elise Salas was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
Coral Glades is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for American Heritage, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2.
American Heritage was able to grind out a solid win over Coral Glades in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, winning 3-0. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
