Soccer Game Preview: Midtown vs. North Atlanta

The Midtown Knights will face off against the North Atlanta Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Midtown is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Greater Atlanta Christian just ended the team's eight-game winning streak last Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The shutout was out of character for Midtown seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, North Atlanta brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past Alpharetta 6-1 last Tuesday. Considering North Atlanta have won six games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Alpharetta from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Francie Herring led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Midtown's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for North Atlanta, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
