Football Recap: Luke Harmon and Kingston Logan Pace Menendez Defense

If Parker wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Menendez, they should've done a better job of containing Dominick Torchio. The Falcons put the hurt on the Braves with a sharp 40-18 victory on Friday thanks in part to Torchio, who rushed for 139 yards and three TDs on only 14 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Menendez didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Luke Harmon and Kingston Logan. With that strong performance, Harmon is now averaging an impressive 5.5 total tackles per game.

The win got Menendez back to even at 2-2. As for Parker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, Menendez will be playing at home against Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Parker, they are taking a road trip to square off against ED White at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
