Soccer Recap: Southwest Wake Comes Up Short

Southwest Wake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool Jaguars, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Southwest Wake can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 344th in North Carolina, while Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool are ranked 21st in Oklahoma).

Southwest Wake's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

Southwest Wake will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Life Camp at 5:30 p.m. on the 22nd. Tulsa NOAH HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
