Softball Recap: Economedes Jaguars vs. La Joya Coyotes

Economedes extended their losing streak to 11 on Friday, dropping their season record down to 4-16 in the process. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Joya Coyotes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Coyotes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-4 back in March.

Evelyn Cano was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season.
