Softball Preview: Boone County Rebels vs. St. Henry Crusaders

Boone County will bounce into Saturday's match after beating Ryle, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Boone County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 victory over Ryle on Wednesday.

Dani Wright was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Wright has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Wright was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with a home run.
