Volleyball Recap: Peyton Anway and Hannah Rider Secure Win for Page + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Brentwood, Page was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Independence Eagles by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Patriots: when they faced off against the Eagles back in August, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

While Page might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Independence scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 13-25, 25-22, 25-20.

Leading Page to victory were Hannah Rider and Peyton Anway. Rider had 24 digs and three assists, while Anway had four aces. Rider has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Page was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 11-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Page's record now sits at 16-11. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 18-12.

Page does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Independence, they will face off against Ravenwood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles are facing the Raptors at the right time seeing as the Raptors are stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
