After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lubbock-Cooper, Plainview was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Palo Duro Dons with a sharp 17-1 victory. That 16 run margin sets a new team best for the Bulldogs this season.

Yaneli Jaramillo made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in February of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
