Volleyball Recap: Corry Beats Meadville for Their Fourth Straight Win

Corry waltzed into their contest on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Meadville Bulldogs. The game was the first time the Beavers have beaten the Bulldogs on their court since August 31, 2024.

Grace Allen paced Corry's offense, picking up five kills. Allen were helped by Ava Hallberg and Haley Mumau, who contributed six assists each. Brynley Watrous controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Corry's victory bumped their record up to 4-0.

Corry has already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Sharpsville on the 30th. As for Meadville, they will welcome General McLane at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
