Volleyball Recap: Hilton Head Island Comes Up Short

Hilton Head Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the James Island Trojans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Seahawks of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16.

Hilton Head Island's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for James Island, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

Hilton Head Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Bishop England on the 30th. As for James Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Lucy Beckham on the 30th.
