It's playoff time, and Huntington had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Manchester Greyhounds with a sharp 11-2 win on Thursday. Considering the Huntsmen have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Huntington has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Manchester, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 15-5 record.

Coming up, Huntington will face off against Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Huntsmen 3.7, the Eagles 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. Manchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
