Basketball Game Preview: Hamilton Heights Huskies vs. Westfield Shamrocks

The Hamilton Heights Huskies will face off against the Westfield Shamrocks at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Tuesday, Hamilton Heights was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 43-37 to North Miami.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Sarah Sherrill, who posted nine points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Kamryn Rhoton, who put up ten points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Westfield had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They walked away with a 48-40 victory over the Trojans.

Hamilton Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Westfield, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Hamilton Heights didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Westfield in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 45-39 victory. Does Hamilton Heights have another victory up their sleeve, or will Westfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
