North East is 8-2 against Girard since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Grape Pickers will welcome the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. North East is looking for their season's first victory.

North East fell victim to Seneca and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Bobcats. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Meanwhile, Girard came up short against Corry on Tuesday, falling 14-1. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Girard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for North East, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Everything went North East's way against Girard in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as North East made off with a 15-5 win. Will the Grape Pickers repeat their success, or do the Yellowjackets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
