Southwood is 8-2 against Parkway since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Southwood Cowboys will head out on the road to face off against the Parkway Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Southwood can't be too worried about heading out to take on Parkway: they just beat Richwood at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. Southwood slipped by Richwood 51-50 on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Parkway posted their closest win since February 13, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Pleasant Hill, sneaking past 59-57.

The victory got Southwood back to even at 15-15. As for Parkway, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-9.

Southwood beat Parkway 56-43 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southwood since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
