Soccer Recap: Greene County Comes Up Short

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat. They came up short against the Nevada Cubs, falling 13-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Greene County of the 18-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Greene County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-21. As for Nevada, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-5-2.

Greene County has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against East Sac County on the 16th. As for Nevada, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 2-2 draw against Denver on the 17th.
