Basketball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Saline Hornets, falling 58-19. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Railsplitters this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-28 back in December of 2024.

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Saline, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln has already played their next contest (against Huron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Saline will take on Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Dexter knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Saline likes a good challenge.
