Softball Recap: Interlake Takes a Loss

Interlake blew Lindbergh out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Lindbergh got their revenge. The Saints fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 6-4. The Saints were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 14-3.

Interlake saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dorah Wang, who went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI.

Interlake's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lindbergh, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Interlake wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 22-5 victory against Renton on the 12th. As for Lindbergh, they will square off against Highline at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Pirates have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
