Wells extended their winning streak to 14 on Saturday, bumping their season record up to 16-6 in the process. Everything went their way against the Virginia City Muckers as they made off with a 16-1 victory. Considering the Leopards have won 13 matches by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Khloe DelRio made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adriana Aguilar, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Stacia Hansen, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with five RBI and one run.

Wells hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least two batters in four consecutive games.

As for Virginia City, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-8-1. The contest marked their lowest-scoring match so far this season.

On Virginia City's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jensyn Harold, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one RBI.

Wells will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Muckers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
