Narragansett barely beat Scituate the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mariners put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 9-1 victory on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Mariners, who have now won three matchups in a row.

The team relied heavily on Riley Cronin, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jackson Hohl, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Narragansett now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Scituate, their record is now 9-7.

Looking ahead, Narragansett will be playing at home against St. Raphael Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Scituate, they will head out on the road to face off against Classical at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
