Volleyball Recap: Conard Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Conard and Staples squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Conard had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Wreckers. If the Red Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Wreckers when the teams met back in November of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Conard's offense was headlined by Kate R and Evelyn K, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Jayme K and her 15 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Conard has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season. As for Staples, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season.

Conard does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Staples, they have already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Ludlowe on the 6th.
