Flag Football Recap: Denver West Comes Up Short

Denver West fell victim to Vista PEAK Prep and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Bison, falling 40-0. The Cowboys were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bison apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Laneya Clint-Robinson had an outrageously good game for Vista PEAK Prep as she rushed for 94 yards and three scores. Another big playmaker for the Bison was Goretty Vazquez De Leon, who returned a punt for a touchdown.

Denver West is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6. As for Vista PEAK Prep, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4.

Denver West has already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Hinkley on the 25th. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 14-13 loss against Denver South on the 25th.
