Baseball Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross lost against Simon Kenton two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Pioneers, falling 10-2. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ethan Neal was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Simon Kenton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will head out to square off against Beechwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Simon Kenton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Anderson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
