Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Cushman Cougars 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Stallions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2023.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) never let Cushman on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-15, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Cushman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Martina Mouawad had 20 digs.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Cushman, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Mater Bay Academy on the 15th. As for Cushman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Pinecrest Glades Academy on the 15th.
