Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Desiree Gonzalez stepped things up a notch to give Weslaco the 'W'. Gonzalez had 15 digs and three assists. The performance marked the most assists she has had over her last eight games.

Gonzalez and Weslaco will host Harlingen at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since November of 2020, but a win here would be a good start.
