Football Recap: Richie Talavera's Menacing Defense Leads Bishop Union over Boron + How To Watch

Bishop Union had won two straight home games and Hunter Dailey did his part to make it three on Friday. The Broncos claimed a resounding 44-7 win over the Boron Bobcats for which the team can thank Dailey, who rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Bishop Union didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Richie Talavera led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Dom Barlow got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Bishop Union's record is now 5-2. As for Boron, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Bishop Union will host California City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
