Softball Recap: Lebanon Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dallas, Lebanon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the South Albany Redhawks 18-8. The high-scoring effort was just what the Warriors needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

Genevieve Osburg was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Osburg was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

In other batting news, Mahala Pyle was a standout: she fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tatum Cole, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.

Lebanon's victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-16. As for South Albany, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 9-16.

As of now, neither Lebanon nor the Redhawks have any future games scheduled.
