Volleyball Recap: Irene/Wakonda Takes a Loss

Irene/Wakonda lost against Tripp-Delmont/Armour back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Nighthawks. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Irene/Wakonda was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-19, 25-16.

Irene/Wakonda's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Irene/Wakonda will head out to face off against Bridgewater/Emery at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tripp-Delmont/Armour, they will take on Avon at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more sets each match than the last.
