Basketball Recap: Logan Renken's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Little River over Olpe

Little River lost against Olpe back in March of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Little River Redskins fell 78-66 to the Olpe Eagles.

Little River's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Renken, who on his way to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaren Garrison, who en route to 22 points.

Even though they lost, Little River was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Little River's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Olpe, they pushed their record up to 19-2-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Little River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 65-29 victory against Goessel on the 25th. Olpe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
