Soccer Recap: Gretna East Wins Going Away Against Conestoga

Gretna East kept a clean sheet against Conestoga on Monday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 4-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Gretna East as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

They hit Conestoga with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braylon Brolliar, Joel Bahena, Zach Boley, and Trey Potthoff.

The win got Gretna East back to even at 7-7. As for Conestoga, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Gretna East will square off against The Platte at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Platte will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Gretna East surely won't give up without a fight. Conestoga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
