Football Game Preview: Fostoria Redmen vs. Genoa Area Comets

Fostoria hasn't had much luck against Genoa Area recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Redmen will venture away from home to challenge the Comets at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Fostoria and Rossford were almost perfectly matched up, but Fostoria suffered a 14-13 defeat.

Meanwhile, Genoa Area waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They took down the Eagles 42-27. 42 seems to be a good number for the Comets as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Genoa Area's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Fostoria, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Fostoria took a serious blow against Genoa Area when the teams last played back in September of 2024, falling 47-7. Can the Redmen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
