Central Wise hadn't done well against Gate City recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Warriors put the hurt on the Blue Devils with a sharp 3-0 win. The contest marked the Warriors' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Despite the defeat, Gate City had strong showings from Sophie Webb, who had eight digs and one block, and Emma Jobe, who had 14 digs. Webb has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Wise and bumps their season record up to 3-4. As for Gate City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.
