Softball Game Preview: Auburndale Bloodhounds vs. Sebring Blue Streaks

The Auburndale Bloodhounds are taking a road trip to square off against the Sebring Blue Streaks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Auburndale's offense. They fell 5-0 to Lake Region on Thursday. The Bloodhounds haven't had much luck with the Thunder recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Sebring not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since February 28th. They blew past Fort Meade 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Streaks.

Casey Elfers` was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Joelimar Moreno, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Sebring's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Auburndale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
