Basketball Recap: Rossville Picks Up Second Consecutive Victory

Frankfort came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Rossville, but Brayden Thiele-Hahn wouldn't allow it. The Rossville Hornets took down the Frankfort Hot Dogs 78-63 on Saturday thanks in part to Thiele-Hahn, who shot 7-for-11 from beyond the arc and almost dropped a double-double on 35 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Frankfort lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jack Michael, who went 9 of 18 on his way to 25 points. Michael is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Lucas Waggoner also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Rossville and bumps their season record up to 9-5. As for Frankfort, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rossville will take on Clinton Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Frankfort, they will square off against West Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
