Madison Central extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Nataya Strader. The Madison Central Indians enjoyed a cozy 70-55 victory over Great Crossing on Monday which was due in part to Strader, who went 9-for-19 to rack up 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 47% in the last four games she's played.
Another player making a difference was Brooke Campbell, who posted a point in addition to 11 assists, eight boards, and three steals. Those 11 assists gave her a new career-high.
Madison Central's win bumped their record up to 27-2. As for Great Crossing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-14.
Coming up, Madison Central will be taking part in a tournament against Lafayette at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Great Crossing does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
