Soccer Recap: Edgewood Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Edgewood's offense. They fell just short of the Satellite Scorpions by a score of 1-0 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Red Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Scorpions are ranked 105th).

Edgewood's loss dropped their record down to 5-3-3. As for Satellite, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2-1.

Edgewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Satellite, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
