Penn Hills' loss ends three-game winning streak on the road

Recap: Penn Hills Indians vs. Fox Chapel Foxes

After a string of five wins, the Penn Hills Indians's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 61-52 to Fox Chapel. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Penn Hills came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Fox Chapel is ranked 223rd).

Fox Chapel was led to victory by Asher White and Will Siegel. White scored 17 points, while Siegel dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Siegel's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Ike Moser was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Penn Hills' loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-2. As for Fox Chapel, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-6.

Penn Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Armstrong at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Armstrong focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 last Thursday. As for Fox Chapel, they will head out on the road to face off against Plum at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Plum will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
