Volleyball Game Preview: Shepard Astros vs. St. Laurence Vikings

Shepard is 0-3 against St. Laurence since April of 2022 but things could change on Monday. The Astros will be playing at home against the Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Shepard was able to grind out a solid victory over Bremen, taking the game 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Shepard was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13.

Meanwhile, St. Laurence waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Meteors by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16.

Shepard has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for St. Laurence, the win got them back to even at 12-12.
