Soccer Game Preview: North Grand vs. Steinmetz College Prep

The North Grand Eagle Owls will head out on the road to square off against the Steinmetz College Prep Silver Streaks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Grand is leaving town to face Steinmetz College Prep after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. North Grand fell 3-1 to Westinghouse two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Steinmetz College Prep lost 4-1 to Senn on Monday. Steinmetz College Prep have struggled against Senn recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

North Grand beat Steinmetz College Prep by a goal when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Grand since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
