Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caney Valley). Everything went their way against the Bluestem Lions on Friday as they made off with a 19-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Bullpups, who have now won seven games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Caney Valley is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Bluestem, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caney Valley will face off against Field Kindley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bluestem, they will take on Udall at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Lions are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
