Volleyball Recap: Lewiston Comes Up Short on the Road Against Edward Little

Lewiston had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Edward Little Red Eddies, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

While Lewiston was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-19.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nokomis at 6:30 p.m. on the 17th. As for Edward Little, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Messalonskee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
