Two dominant guards in Mj Yeager and Clyde Roche are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Graceville Tigers will host the Holmes County Blue Devils at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Graceville easily dispatched Vernon on Friday, but unfortunately both the margin and the ultimate result were a different story in this one. The Tigers fell just short of Central by a score of 63-60 on Tuesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Holmes County had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.4 points) and they went ahead and made it eight on Tuesday. They blew past the Yellowjackets 71-18. The Blue Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Graceville better keep an eye on James Thole. He was instrumental in Holmes County's win, shooting 78% from the field en route to 16 points and seven boards. Landon Gammons was another key player, putting up five points along with nine rebounds and five assists.

Holmes County smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Graceville's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Holmes County, their win bumped their record up to 18-2.
