Soccer Recap: Catholic - N.I. Takes a Loss

Catholic - N.I. lost to Vermilion Catholic back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 4-3. Catholic - N.I. have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Catholic - N.I.'s loss dropped their record down to 5-5-1. As for Vermilion Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That somehow still isn't as good as their 11-2-1 record this season.

Catholic - N.I. will square off against South Beauregard at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Catholic - N.I. will be up against South Beauregard's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.2 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Vermilion Catholic, they will face off against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 11:30 p.m. on Saturday.
