Basketball Recap: Make It Six in a Row for Bridgeprep Village Green

BridgePrep Village Green waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They took down the Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes 65-48. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 65-25 victory the Hurricanes walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.

BridgePrep Village Green's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

After both having extra time off, BridgePrep Village Green and Greenacres Christian will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Greenacres Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.9 points per game this season. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Keys Gate at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
