Volleyball Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Richardson's Winning Streak

It was a good run, but Richardson unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Brenham Cubs by a score of 2-1.

Leading Brenham to victory were Logan Hayslip and Claire Huff. Hayslip had 17 digs and four aces, while Huff had three digs and two aces. What's more, Huff racked up 14 assists, the most she's had since back in October of 2024.

Richardson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Brenham, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Richardson will challenge Frisco at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brenham, they will head out on the road to challenge Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
