Soccer Recap: Weiser Comes Up Short

Weiser was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Emmett Huskies. One thing that didn't help Weiser's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Max Lattin.

Weiser's goal came courtesy of Ben Hansen, who's now up to four this season.

Weiser's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Emmett, they now have a winning record of 5-4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Weiser will take on rival Payette at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Emmett is set to challenge their familiar foe McCall-Donnelly at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
