Baseball Recap: Airport Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Airport's offense. They fell 3-0 to the A.C. Flora Falcons on Wednesday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2022.

Airport's defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-5. As for A.C. Flora, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5-1.

Airport and A.C. Flora should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings. The Eagles will face off against Brookland-Cayce at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (28 vs. 114). Meanwhile, A.C. Flora (ranked 13th) will meet Richland Northeast (ranked 247th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
