TCAL Division I recap November 19, 2013

Tomball Christian HomeSchool moved up to 964 from 1,012 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in TCAL Division I. The Warriors climbed the ranks as a result of besting Mount Carmel Academy 54-0.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool took down the Rebels 54-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kyler Barnett ran for 62 yards and caught 1 pass for 14 yards in the win.

Jack Frey's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Crayton Fowler threw for 13 and 1 touchdown and Sam Cantu had 21 yards receiving. On the ground Barnett chipped in 62 yards. Barnett helped Tomball Christian HomeSchool's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

The Warriors' dynamic duo of Fowler and Cantu proved tough for Mount Carmel Academy to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Preston Rajski provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Tomball Christian HomeSchool bested Lacy Wolf's team. Rajski's key target this week was Cantu, who caught 2 passes for 21 yards.

On the heels of Austin Frey and Troy Castrow, the Warriors have had great success on offense. Frey leads the league in passing with 742 yards, while Castrow has rushed for 355 yards this season. The Rebels' Joshua Brazille leads the league in receiving yards with 407 on 17 catches.

Tomball Christian HomeSchool made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,930 from 11,720. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 54-0 victory over Mount Carmel Academy last week.
