Basketball Game Preview: Elsinore Tigers vs. Great Oak Wolfpack + Official Tickets

Elsinore is 0-3 against Great Oak since December of 2015 but things could change on Monday. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Wolfpack at 7:00 p.m. Elsinore knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Great Oak likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Elsinore challenged San Bernardino on Saturday. The Tigers strolled past the Cardinals with points to spare, taking the game 82-63. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while the Cardinals are ranked 488th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Great Oak beat Villa Park 66-57 on Saturday.

Great Oak's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Elsinore, their win bumped their record up to 12-0.

Elsinore was dealt a bruising 82-42 defeat at the hands of Great Oak when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers, Gor-El Zollicoffer (who shot 65% from the field on his way to 34 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
