Volleyball Recap: Palatine Takes a Loss

Palatine was the 2-1 winner over Schaumburg when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Saxons by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Palatine actually scored more points across those three sets (72-71), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 20-25, 25-23.

Palatine's loss dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Schaumburg, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

Coming up, Palatine will head out on the road to square off against Fremd at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Schaumburg, they will challenge Fenton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
